Sadly it looks as though Ashbourne and District CBS is on its way out. An Extraordinary General Meeting of the club was held at The Shoulder of Mutton Public House at Osmaston, Ashbourne, Derbyshire last night Friday 25 May, 2012. The outcome as I was informed is that all the clubs activities will cease with immediate effect, that means their will be no further meetings or shows until some one or a group of individuals volunteer to take on the running of the club. This period of suspension of activities will continue until Friday 22 February , 2013 at which a date an AGM has been called for to either close the club or restart it.
